Good Vegetarian Eating

It has been said that "What you eat today walks and talks tomorrow." And this is true. Our lifestyle and our eating affects our whole being, physical, mental, social, and spiritual.

Are there disadvantages? No, balanced vegetarian eating seems to be all advantage! Are there things to watch for? Yes. Both of these questions will be addressed in this section.

What is a Vegetarian?

There are four main types of vegetarians:

Lacto-ovo-vegetarian includes dairy products and eggs, but excludes all flesh foods - meat, poultry, and fish. In a nutshell, "if it has a face, they do not eat it."
Lacto-vegetarian, the same as lacto-ovo-vegetarian, except that eggs are also excluded.
Total Vegetarian, abstains from the use of all foods of animal origin.
Vegan As for Total vegetarian, with the addition that the use of things made from animals, such as leather goods, is avoided.
